Programme Overview

In today's fast-paced world, irregular routines, excessive travel, mental overactivity, improper diet, and chronic stress significantly aggravate Vata dosha. This can lead to dryness, stiffness, pain, anxiety, disturbed sleep, digestive irregularities, and gradual tissue depletion. Over time, these subtle imbalances may manifest as chronic or degenerative conditions.

According to classical Ayurvedic wisdom, balancing Vata is essential for maintaining overall health, as Vata governs movement, nerve impulses, circulation, and elimination. The ancient principle of "prevention is better than cure" forms the foundation of this program.

Our Seven-Day Ayurveda Allied Panchakarma Therapy – Package B is a specialized purification (Shodhana) program focusing on Basti Karma (medicated enema therapy), considered the prime treatment for Vata disorders. This program is suitable both for those managing Vata-related conditions and for individuals seeking preventive rejuvenation and nervous system strengthening.

Programme Overview

Program Module

Program Module

On Day 1, participants receive a holistic consultation with a registered Ayurveda Consultant, assessing Vikruti (current imbalance), Prakriti (constitution), digestive strength, and lifestyle history. Based on this assessment, a personalized 7-day Panchakarma plan is prepared.

The plan includes therapies and herbal preparations targeting:

  • Snehana (external oleation)
  • Swedana (sudation/steam therapy)
  • Basti Karma (main cleansing procedure)
  • Relaxation and nervous system regulation
  • Rejuvenation and Rasayana support

Daily schedules, provided each evening, outline yoga, routines, meals, and therapies for the following day.

Phases of the Panchakarma Procedure

1

Phase 1: Pre-Procedure

Purpose:

Prepare the body and mind for Basti therapy and Vata purification

Process:

Begins with a personalized consultation to assess your health condition, Vata imbalance, and suitability for Basti. The body is prepared with external Snehana (oleation) through medicated oil Abhyanga to nourish tissues and reduce dryness, followed by Swedana (steam therapy) to open channels and mobilize toxins toward the colon. A light, warm Vata-pacifying diet, along with gentle yoga and pranayama, supports grounding and stabilization of the nervous system.

Phase 1: Pre-Procedure
2

Phase 2: Main Procedure

Purpose:

Detoxification and regulation of aggravated Vata

Process:

Continues with Snehana and Swedana to loosen and direct toxins toward the colon. You will then undergo Basti Karma (medicated enema therapy) as the main cleansing procedure. Depending on your individual assessment, this may include oil-based Basti for nourishment and lubrication or decoction-based Basti for cleansing and regulation or both. Rest, warmth, and a supportive Vata-pacifying diet are maintained throughout the day to enhance the effectiveness of the therapy.

Phase 2: Main Procedure
3

Phase 3: Post-Treatment / Rejuvenation

Purpose:

Restore balance and consolidate benefits

Process:

Involves gentle therapies such as Abhyanga, mild steam therapy, and calming treatments like Shirodhara to support nervous system regulation. A light and gradually normalizing diet are continued to rebuild digestive strength. Yoga, meditation, and relaxation practices aid recovery and mental clarity. A final Rasayana consultation provides a personalized long-term wellness and Vata management plan.

Phase 3: Post-Treatment / Rejuvenation
