We are very happy that we could open our guesthouse (friends call it happy home) last November. Our guests are feeling very well here. ("We were welcomed very warmly, so that we felt at home right away. We will never forget these 9 days in the Ayurveda Health Home" our friends Barbara and Udo wrote into our guest-book). The guesthouse is right beside our centre. We can offer 4 rooms with attached bathroom (2 double rooms, two single rooms) and a lounge with a balcony. In addition there is an inviting roof-top terrace where you can relax. Our cook Mr. Puro has international experience and is instructed by Dr.Rishi in combining Ayurvedic cooking with his international cooking skills. We are also planning to offer Ayurvedic cooking classes in the future.

Background of Ayurveda Health Home

As you all know Ayurveda Health Home P. Ltd. is a Nepal-German joint venture, where the traditional science of Ayurveda has been combined with German health quality management. All our therapists are examined Nepalese men and women who have been trained by Marlies Foerster, Dr.Rishi Ram and Badri Koirala. In the last two years alone over 5000 guests from more than 80 countries have come to our Health Home. They got classical therapies from half an hour up to treatments for a period of 28 days. Our guests are very content and say that the quality of all therapies is exceptionally good and the atmosphere in the house kind and healing.

Live in the guesthouse, enjoy the therapies and go sight-seeing in Kathmandu

If you book a therapy with us and stay at our guesthouse, it is good to know that your therapies will usually take between 2 and 4 hours a day (except for the Panca Karma treatment), so that you can spend half a day on exploring the interesting Kathmandu valley. If you wish we can hire guides who can offer you a sight-seeing program.

Throughout 2007 we will grant you a special discount for your lodging during the treatment or training period.

Please note: Our guesthouse is open 7 days a week, but saturday we offer only bed and breakfast
